Philosophy

Our approach is to break away from the schemes of the classic ceremony photography by working more with semplicity and spontaneity.

Catching the most significant moments with discretion,by interpreting what each client expects, is the studio’s main philosophy.

All photos are acurately selected to extract the best images and through digital technology we oversee the printing process untill the completion of your photo album.

THE PHOTO SHOOT

If the photo shoot is taken from two different angles, it allows us to win the challenge and “stop the moment” right when it happens….not a second early nor a second later.

THE PRINTING PROCESS AND THE ALBUM MOUNTING

The images are selected and numerically reduced to about one fourth of the total photos taken and delivered to the customer (proofs in low resolution). The selection of the best images, the album choice, the post-production, photo-retouching and printing phases will follow. The number of selected best images usually varies from 80 to 120, and will be in different formats.

ON WHAT CRITERIA DOES ONE CHOOSE A PHOTOGRAPHER?

When choosing a photographer, it is important to focus on the working method each one has, based on the results one desires. Selecting one, based only on a few photographs, perhaps taken randomly from different photo shoots, does not guarantee that those images can be repeated.

WHAT GUARANTEES A GOOD RESULT?

A constant and repeatable result is done, based on personally checking the entire process of the photo shoot. The creative process cannot be standardized, it needs a crafted methodology in order to produce original custom solutions for each event.

CAN YOU GIVE US AN EXAMPLE?

Images in which one or more people have their eyes closed. In this case, at least two or three photographs are taken and they are then post-produced in order to compensate for this imperfection.

DO YOU ALWAYS RECOMMEND THE REPORTAGE STYLE?

Not always, or at least not for all marriages; sometimes due to the duration of the event or the photogeny of the people that could invite us to do some portrait shots (but obviously, not too many).

HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE YOUR STYLE?

I have a great passion for all the aspects of photography and it could not be otherwise since I have chosen this profession The images I create are influenced by my entire being and the experience that shapes the vision with which I see reality.

ARE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS INSPIRED BY ART HISTORY?

Photography captures the present, but it is also a reflection of the past… meanwhile, if it is able to also portray what is about to happen, then it becomes a timeless image, and a work of art is created…

DO YOU FOLLOW THE WORK PROCESS IN ALL PHASES?

For all the creative phases certainly, at least when shooting, during the
image choice and their post production. In addition I personally follow the client from the moment he entrusts me with the job.

DOES THE FINAL RESULT CHANGE IF YOU ARE NOT PERSONALLY SHOOTING THE PHOTOS?

Each photographer has competence, experience and portfolio but each one has a different method one from the other.I suggest you always make sure that the images and character of what you want are in line with those of the chosen photographer.

DO YOU PREFER TO USE NATURAL LIGHT OR FLASH LIGHT?

I certainly prefer natural light, as long as it is suits each individual shot; when necessary I also use flash light or extra lighting sources.

DOES THE TIME OF THE EVENT AFFECT THE PHOTOGRAPHIC RESULT?

Certainly yes, both in terms of the overall duration of the event and the amount of light available during the different hours of the day. Taking pictures is like writing with light so you can imagine how important light is for a great photo shoot.

BESIDES LIGHTING, WHAT OTHER ASPECT AFFECTS THE QUALITY OF THE IMAGES?

The subjects expressivity makes it possible to make them photogenic.
